Services at The Rose The Mission of the Rose is to reduce deaths from breast cancer by providing screening, diagnostics, support and access to treatment for ALL women regardless of their ability to pay. The Rose provides services to all women. Those with insurance and the ability to pay and those who qualify for The Empower Her® Sponsorship Program. Our low-cost cash price, as well as, the Empower Her® Sponsorship Program, ensures that all women can access the potentially life saving procedures of breast cancer screening and diagnosis. Through the years The Rose has expanded its services to become a complete breast health resource organization. The Rose annually provides more than 50,000 services to people throughout Texas and beyond with its patient majority in the Greater Houston area. However, women have come to The Rose from as far as Pennsylvania for their annual mammogram. The Rose Patient Services include: Screening & diagnostic procedures Mammograms - Screening & diagnostic Mobile Mammography Ultrasound SomoVuTM Automated Whole Breast Ultrasound Breast-Specific Gamma Imaging (BSGI) Ultrasound-guided Fine Needle Aspirations Ultrasound-guided Core Biopsies Stereotactic Biopsies Bone Density Screening These procedures are performed using state-of-the-art equipment. Personal Boutique (sponsored by Beta Sigma Phi - Houston Council) : wigs and prosthesis available to patients at no cost.
